Bihter Esener

Bihter Esener (Ph.D., Koç University, 2022) is lecturer of medieval Mediterranean and Islamic arts in the History of Art Department at the University of Michigan. She is currently working on a book exploring Seljuk-period bronze mirrors within the lives of the inhabitants of medieval Anatolia. She is one of the founding members of Khamseen: Islamic Art History Online.
