Bob Anderson
For the past twenty years, Bob Anderson has been preoccupied with managerial roles, first as Director of the Xerox Research Laboratory in Cambridge, then as Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Business Development at Sheffield Hallam University, and latterly at Chief Executive of University Campus Suffolk. Prior to this, with his colleagues Wes Sharrock and John Hughes, Bob completed what have become classic investigations of work and working life in different settings. These included an entrepreneurial firm, the London Air Traffic Control Centre, and Xerox itself.
