Branislav Ondrášik
Dr. Branislav Ondrášik is Assistant Professor and Deputy Director at the Institute of Mass Media Communication and Advisor in Foreign Relations to the Dean of the Faculty of Media, Pan European University – one of the largest private universities in Slovakia. He graduated in journalism from the Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University in Bratislava, continued in Ph.D. studies at the Comenius University, and pursued dissertation research in Political Economy of Media as a Fulbright scholar at Michigan State University. In 2008, studying as a Chevening scholar, he finished his MA studies with Distinction in Political Communication at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, and was a Weiser Fellow at the Center for Political Studies at the University of Michigan. Along with his academic career, he works as Public Relations Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at global IT security company ESET.
Up until last year, he had worked since 1999 as a journalist for various dailies, magazines and online media.
