Brenda J. Robles García
Brenda J. Robles García is currently a screenwriting doctoral researcher at the Helsinki Film School (ELO) at Aalto University. Her research interests are character creation and its juxtaposition to classic and contemporary dramatic theory. She pursues practice-based artistic research, which includes writing a sequel of Romeo and Juliet that applies character creation strategies found in the analysis of Richard III and Netflix’s House of Cards. In 2021, the script-based paper ‘Greta Ruiz and the signs of love’ was published in the journal Sightlines: Filming in the Academy.
