Brent Wilson

Brent Wilson, Ph.D., is a Pennsylvania State University (USA) School of Visual Arts professor emeritus. His research includes studies of visual cultural influences on children’s artistic development and self-initiated drawings, cross-cultural studies on children’s visual storytelling, Japanese and Taiwanese teenagers’ doujinshi/manga clubs and Asian comic markets, studies on children’s interpretations of artworks, educational evaluation for the Getty and National Endowment for the Arts, internet visual ethnography, pedagogical theory and formal and informal pedagogical practices. He makes and exhibits artist-books and folios.
