Brianna Le Busque

Dr Brianna Le Busque is a lecturer of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) who focuses on human dimensions of environments and wildlife. She is a passionate educator, teaching across a variety of disciplines, including psychology, health and business. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology, and her research work is mainly within the area of conservation psychology, where she investigates the influence of the media and social media, including how portrayals of sharks (and other species) can impact fear. More broadly, she conducts research into connection to nature, student well-being and outcomes, individual sustainable behaviours and broader media impacts. Having worked in industry roles in market research and behavioural science, she brings a deep understanding of human behaviour to all her research projects.
