Bronwyn Horne
Bronwyn Horne is currently the academic head of a private tertiary college in South Africa: The Animation School. She holds an MA in digital arts (animation); MTech (Fine Art) Cum Laude and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her Ph.D. research interest focuses on developing a hybrid animation technique through creative practice that addresses certain aspects of chronophotography and issues of perception. Using new approaches and current digital technologies (3D animation and laser-cutting), the creative work explores visual representations of movement, time and space in the animated medium.
