Brynn Higgins-Stirrup
Brynn Higgins-Stirrup is a visual artist and an assistant professor of instruction in drawing at the University of Texas, Dallas. She has exhibited work and completed research internationally, including as an artist in residence at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts in Qatar and residencies at Cona Foundation in India and with Hosokawa and Kurotani papermakers in Japan. She has been awarded various research, travel and creation grants by the Canada Council for the Arts. She has completed her MFA in visual art at the University of Michigan’s Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design.
