Cameron Bishop
Cameron Bishop (Ph.D.) lectures at Deakin University in art and performance. As an artist, often with collaborator Simon Reis, he has exhibited in numerous high-profile galleries and has undertaken a number of public art commissions around Melbourne. Bishop has written extensively on art in the public realm in book chapters and journals, and since 2013, he has curated and produced public art projects, including ‘Venetian Blind’ (with David Cross and in conjunction with the Venice Biennale) and the ‘Treatment Public Art Project’. With Professor David Cross, he works in the Public Art Commission, a research initiative at Deakin University.
