Cameron Butler

Cameron Butler is a PhD Student and SSHRC Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar in the department of Social Anthropology at York University. In his doctoral research, he traces how global movements of phosphorus are remade to sustain white settlers in Canada on a molecular level via transnational chains of racialized dispossession and accumulation. He has published works in the Canadian Journal of Disability Studies and the Routledge Handbook of Gender and Environment.
