Camille Savage-Kroll

Camille Savage-Kroll, professor of Elemental Music Pedagogy (EMP) at the Hochschule für Musik (University of Music) Freiburg, Germany, studied music education and voice at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Her graduate studies were completed in EMP at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. Camille Savage-Kroll’s experience as a music educator spans a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds. In the United States she worked as a music teacher and choir director for elementary and high school students. For five years she led programs for children and youth at the concert house in Bremen and has been a lecturer at numerous universities and Hochschulen. In addition, she has worked extensively with refugee children and children with special needs and is co-author of Timpano, an award-winning concept for Elemental Music Practice.
