Carles Pont-Sorribes
Carles Pont-Sorribes is a professor at the Communication Department of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (UPF). As a researcher, he specializes in risk and crisis communication and analyses of issues related to political communication and public opinion, and local and historical journalism. He is the author of four books and various chapters in collective works, in addition to editorials and scientific articles in journals of recognized importance in the field of communication. He has participated in investigations on electoral campaigns and communication, analysis of the local press and mass media in crisis situation. He is the director of the Political Research Group on Political Communication, Media and Democracy (POLCOM).
