Caroline Gleason-Mercier
Caroline Gleason-Mercier is a current doctoral candidate in the Music Department at King’s College London pursuing research that explores the intersections of opera, gender and sentimentality during the French revolution. Caroline’s research interests are largely shaped by her own background as a performer, and her work tends to focus on the cultural and political histories of women composers throughout the eighteenth century.
