Catherine Ferguson
Catherine Ferguson is an artist and writer based in London. She completed a Fine Art Ph.D. in 2007 titled Painting, Deleuze and the Art of ‘Surface Effects’ and is a lecturer in Fine Art at University of Leeds and a visiting tutor at Chelsea College of Art. Her work was included in recent exhibitions in Berloni Gallery, London (2015), and Pulchri Gallery, The Hague (2014). Curatorial projects include Straddle the Line, APT Gallery, London (2014), and Hidden WPP space, Leeds (2014), and recent publications include ‘Painting and the Metaphor of Discourse’ in E. Whittaker, A. Landrum (eds), Painting with Architecture in Mind (Bath Spa University Press, 2012).
