Charity Armstead
Charity Armstead is the Fashion Merchandising Program director and an assistant professor at Brenau University, where she also manages the historic clothing collection. Her research interests include home sewing, retro sewers, the history of sewing patterns, historic maternity clothing and the evolution of sewing techniques. Her design work focuses on interpreting historic styles with current technology, incorporating couture construction techniques.
