Charlotte Carbone (she/her) is a designer, illustrator and researcher. She holds a B.Des. in fashion from Ryerson University, and plans to pursue a M.Des. in inclusive design. She has worked in a variety of settings and roles, from a fashion designer at a niche start-up company to a fit technician at an established business. Currently, she works as an apparel product developer for licensed goods at a multinational corporation. In her spare time, she is dedicated to researching and designing products and services that reflect the lived experiences of queer, Asian and adoptee communities. Empathy is her tool of choice when approaching complex design challenges. Her priorities are to create and collaborate for the improvement of marginalized people’s daily lives. Charlotte looks forward to disrupting and evolving traditional fashion education and industry practices.
