Charlotte Conrad
Charlotte Conrad received her MA in Rhetorics and in Studies of Nordic Languages and Literature from Copenhagen University in 2004. She earned her Ph.D. in the Psychology of Text Comprehension from Copenhagen University in 2011. As part of an often-relocating expat family she has been living in five different states in the United States and has been a visiting scholar at the University at Hawaii and Indiana University Bloomington during that time. She is currently living the United Arab Emirates where she is a member of the Writers Group of the American Women’s Association in Dubai. She is a board member of the International Association for the Integrational Study of Language and Communication (IAISLC) which promotes the study of language and communication without presupposing language as a publicly shared, fixed code.
