Charlotte Vinther Schmidt

Charlotte Vinther Schmidt, M.Sc., is a research assistant and Ph.D. student in gastrophysics and food chemistry at the University of Copenhagen and a part of the National Danish Taste Center, Taste for Life. Her work centres around the characterization of food texture and umami taste compounds to support good tasting meals that are environmentally sustainable. She has published work in recognized scientific journals and is a committed communicator of scientific knowledge with culinary perspectives to adults as well as children within the public.
