Cheryl A. Casey
Dr Cheryl Casey is an associate professor of communication at Champlain College (Burlington, VT). She is a co-author of New Media, Communication, & Society (Peter Lang, 2019), and has contributed to such publications as the International Encyclopedia of Communication Theory and Philosophy (John Wiley & Sons, 2016) and Explorations in Media Ecology, in addition to a number of edited collections. Dr Casey also served as a president of the New York State Communication Association and executive director of the Eastern Communication Association. She received her master’s and doctorate degrees in media ecology from New York University. Her research interests include media and religion, language and culture, critical pedagogy and critical media studies.
