Cheryl J. Fish

Cheryl J. Fish researches film and ecomedia by Sami artists and activists as a response to extraction and environmental change in the Sápmi region of Fenno-Scandinavia. She has published essays on environmental justice in literature, film and architecture in the United States and elsewhere, and has two books on African American and women’s travel narratives in the nineteenth century. She also writes and publishes fiction and poetry.
