Cheska McGovern
Cheska McGovern is a Ph.D. candidate in English literature at Lancaster University. She is currently researching on-screen moments of dance through her original concept of ‘dance attacks’. Her primary academic interests are dance, movement and the body and affect, emotion and feeling in film and television, popular culture and literature. She previously has published in the journal Queer Studies in Media & Popular Culture.
