Chika Hosoda
Chika Hosoda completed her Ph.D. in Education at the University of York in 2024. Her Ph.D. explored English and Japanese teachers’ views on citizenship, their pedagogical approaches, and the influence of their life experiences and backgrounds. Part of her doctoral research has been published. She is continuing her comparative education research on young people’s participation and social justice while expanding her Ph.D. to address broader interdisciplinary fields including youth and childhood studies, sociology, and politics.
