Christer Bakke Andresen
Christer is assistant professor of film studies. He wrote his Ph.D. thesis on the development of Norwegian horror cinema post–2000 and its aesthetic relationship to American genre cinema. Christer’s research interests include Norwegian and international film history, genre cinema, the aesthetics of modern Norwegian cinema, the concept of film style and the subject of the spectator’s emotional engagement with the fiction film. He is also a screenwriter and author and has released four albums with the music project Keldian.
