Christian Schmitt-Kilb
Christian Schmitt-Kilb is a professor of English literature at the University of Rostock, Germany. He has published two book-length studies, one on early modern poetics and rhetoric and one on the motif of the search for absent fathers in postmodern fiction (United Kingdom, United States and French). More recently, he has published (in collections issued by e.g. Manchester University Press, Brill/Rodopi and Ashgate) on a range of topics related to literature and the environment, including new nature writing/landscape writing, ecopoetics and ecopoetry, ecology and literature of the British left, and fiction, environment and place in the context of Brexit.
