Christina Charalambidou
Christina Charalambidou is a graduate student of Columbia University with a MA in music and music education. She also holds a BA in music from Queens College, CUNY. Ms Charalambidou has worked at the programme of the N.Y. Philharmonic for the educational concerts for young children. Furthermore, she participated in the WeBop of Jazz Music at the Lincoln Center. In 2010 Ms Charalambidou initiated the early childhood music programme MC Baby Maestro. Since 2010 she has been working in preschools, elementary and secondary private schools in Cyprus, as well as, since 2017 she has been working as a teaching fellow at the European University. She is also a member of MIMA Music, which organizes music programmes based on improvisation and cultural music in different countries. Moreover, since 2013 Ms Charalambidou organizes educational music concerts for young children, which are based on her own series of educational musical stories.
