Christine Vial Kayser

Christine Vial Kayser is a museum curator and researcher in Global modern contemporary art, focusing on exchanges between western and Asian art and audience, the relation to context and the transformative potential of art. She has written extensively on both western and Asian modern and contemporary art. Her book on the western reception of Anish Kapoor’s works was published in 2013. Her recent book Marcel Duchamp: The Large Glass and the Great War, was published in September 2019. She is at present researching for a book on Chinese Contemporary art and Chinese Spiritual tradition. She is associate researcher with Creops-Paris Sorbonne 3 rue Michelet Paris 75006 and lecturer in Asian heritage at Institut Catholique de Paris, 74 Rue de Vaugirard, 75006 Paris and President of the research society Asie-Sorbonne.
