Christophe Schinckus
Dr. Christophe Schinckus is professor of finance and head of the School of Finance and Economics at Taylor’s University in Malaysia. He is also honorary professor at the University of Leicester (United Kingdom). He published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His research deals with econophysics, physics applied to finance; FinTech and epistemology of finance. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from Sorbonne University in Paris and a second Ph.D. in philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. Before joining Taylor’s, Prof. Schinckus taught in different universities in Canada; in the United Kingdom, Australia and Vietnam. In parallel with his academic work, Christophe published poems (in French) in the magazines dedicated to poetry (Toth and The Canadian Journal of Poetry and Critical Writing) and couple of his paintings have been exhibited in the Open 26 exhibitions organized by the New Walk Museum in Leicester in 2016.
