Christopher Ketcham
Chris is an art historian and curator whose research focuses on the urban history of post-war American sculpture, with particular attention to sculpture’s relation to the discourses of zoning, infrastructure and urban renewal. Chris recently earned his Ph.D. in the History and Theory of Art at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) after completing his dissertation entitled ‘Minimal art and body politics in New York City, 1961-1975’. His researc was supported by a Luce/ACLS dissertation fellowship and has previously been published in Public Art Dialogue. He currently serves as Associate Curator of Public Art and Permanent Collection at MIT List Visual Arts Center.
