Christopher Pullen

Christopher Pullen is a principal academic in media theory at Bournemouth University. He has published widely in the areas of sexuality and the media. His recent books include Pedro Zamora Sexuality and AIDS Education: The Autobiographical and The Real World (Cambria Press, 2016) and Heroism, Celebrity and Therapy in Nurse Jackie (Routledge, 2018). He is currently working (with Ieuan Franklin) on a British Academy funded research project that focuses on LGBTQ refugees and engagements with NGO help providers, within regional areas of the UK.
