Chrysostomos Apostolidis
Dr Chrysostomos Apostolidis is a senior lecturer of marketing at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, which he joined in 2012. As an academic, he specializes in social and ethical marketing and sustainable consumer behaviour and has published several articles, book chapters, refereed conference papers and reports in this area. His main research interest is in the impact of marketing and digital marketing on sustainable and ethical consumer behaviour and he has received funding and awards for his research. The current article is part of a larger project investigating strategies to support and encourage more sustainable tourism.
