Claire Cronin

Claire Cronin is a doctoral candidate in English at the University of Georgia and the 2018–19 Interdisciplinary Fellow at Lamar Dodd School of Art. She is the author of the poetry chapbook A Spirit is a Mood without a Body (Salt Hill Press, 2018) and has published creative writing in a variety of literary journals since earning her MFA from the University of California, Irvine. As a musician, Cronin has released two records on an independent label and will release a new album in June 2019. She is currently completing a creativecritical dissertation about her obsession with the horror genre, the spectrality of visual media, the phenomenology of depression and religious belief.
