Clare Humphries

Dr Clare Humphries (she/her) is an Australian artist and a lecturer who lives in Sydney on Gadigal country. She holds a Ph.D. from RMIT University and has exhibited widely over the past twenty years, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Hangzhou, China), the Institute of Contemporary Arts (Singapore) and the Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (Australia). Her creative work, which explores notions of aura and ecological awareness, has received numerous awards internationally, and is represented in many public collections including the National Gallery of Australia. Clare has also lived and worked in the United Kingdom at Norwich University of the Arts and the Royal College of Art.
