Claudia Ruitenberg is Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia. She works primarily in the area of philosophy and theory of education, including ethics, political theory, and speech act theory. She is the author of Unlocking the world: Education in an Ethic of Hospitality (2016) and editor of (among other titles) Reconceptualizing Study in Educational Discourse and Practice (2017).
