Cora Chalaby
Cora Chalaby is a Ph.D. candidate in history of art at University College London and a visiting scholar at Yale University. Her research explores American abstract painting by women artists of the 1960s and 1970s, focusing on the work of Helen Frankenthaler, Alma Thomas and Joan Mitchell. Cora received an MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and BA in history of art from the University of Cambridge. Cora has written on American women abstract artists for The Burlington Magazine, Immediations, Art UK and Dulwich Picture Gallery’s Blog.
