Corinna Budnarowska
Corinna Budnarowska has been an academic in fashion and retail marketing for seventeen years and is currently a senior lecturer in fashion branding and communication at the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), having previously been an academic at Bournemouth University. She is an associate editor for the International Journal of Sustainable Fashion & Textiles. She has a practitioner background, having previously owned and run a fashion store and website. Her store was voted by Retail Week as one of the ‘Top 100 must visit stores in the world’ in 2003 and she was an early adopter of e-commerce in 2002, going on to consult to other fashion businesses about their own online strategies. Her research interests are in consumer relationships with fashionable, prestige sneaker brands and whether this positively impacts brand loyalty, sneakerhead culture and female sneaker consumers, fashion pop-up retailing, and fashion sustainability and the circular economy.
