Cosette Castro
Cosette Castro is a journalist, researcher and psychoanalyst. She holds a Ph.D. in journalism and communication research from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain, and completed postdoctoral work in clinical psychology and culture (Universidade de Brasília [UnB], Brazil) and in communication research for regional development with UNESCO. She has been a university professor for 23 years, has twenty books published in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and was a researcher for Instituto Lula in 2021 and 2022. She is a researcher for the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science, Technology and Innovations (IBICT), and her work focuses on digital media, gender and digital inclusion.
