Costas Constandinides

Dr. Costas Constandinides is a lecturer in the Department of Communications at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He has taught in the Department of Film, Theatre and Television at the University of Reading, UK, where he was also awarded his Ph.D. He is a member of the Film Selection Committee of Cyprus Film Days International film festival and a member of the Script Evaluation Subcommittee of the Cinema Advisory Committee of Cyprus. He is the author of the book From Film Adaptation to Post–celluloid Adaptation: Rethinking the Transition of Popular Narratives and Characters across Old and New Media (New York/London: Continuum, 2010). His research interests mainly focus on film adaptation, post-celluloid adaptation, digital cinema and transnational horror cinema.
