Craig M. McGill

Dr Craig M. McGill is a senior academic advisor for the Department of English at Florida International University, where he also teaches courses in musical theatre, film and queer studies. He holds masters degrees in music theory from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and academic advising from Kansas State University, and a doctorate from Florida International University in adult education and human resource development. An active member of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising, he chairs the Commission for LGBTQA Advising and Advocacy and serves on the editorial board for the NACADA Journal. He has published papers within the fields of academic advising, gender and sexuality studies, adult education, and musical theatre studies.
