Cristina Mattiucci
Cristina Mattiucci is an architect. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, with a thesis in Urban Planning about the perception of landscape in planning processes. Her research concerns the landscape, focusing on its multiple meanings, both material and symbolic, with a predilection for its feature of inhabited territory and public space. This interest was further developed in metropolitan contexts during a Marie Curie research fellowship (2011–14) carried on at the DICAM in Trento and at the AMP-LAVUE of the ENSA Paris – la Villette. She is currently a contract professor in Urban Planning at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Trento. Among her latest publications is Territoires en débat. Discussing landscape(s) in contemporary metropolitan realities (professionaldreamers, 2015).
