Cynthia Stephens Himonides
Dr Cynthia Stephens-Himonides has contributed articles to the International Journal of Music Education, Bulletin for the Council of Research in Music Education, Update, Journal of Technology in Music Learning, Keyboard Companion and Piano Pedagogy Forum. She has held university positions in Illinois and Ohio, USA, in group piano and piano pedagogy and served as chair of the Research Committee of the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, a Foreign Expert in China, and Visiting Research Assistant at the University of London, Institute of Education, UK. She holds a Doctor of Music Education/Piano Pedagogy from the University of Texas, Austin, a master of Music from Rice University, and bachelor of Music Education from University of Central Arkansas. Cynthia is currently a free-lance teacher and researcher in London, England.
