Damian McIlroy
Damian McIlroy is a Ph.D. candidate based in Queen’s University Belfast. His doctoral research has a specific focus on the structural crisis of capitalism, its relationship with climate breakdown and the transformative potential of organized labour and social movement agency for a Just Transition. His research interests include the green political economy, Marxist critical theory, just transition theory, the Situationist International, devolution and eco-social democracy, protest and civil disobedience, trade unionism and labour movements.
