Daniel A. Jones
Daniel A. Jones is an educator, performer, conductor and composer/arranger in Central Iowa. Since 2008 Jones has been the Director of Bands at Woodside Middle School (Saydel Community School District) in Des Moines, Iowa. As a trumpeter, Jones has performed with the Des Moines Symphony and the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra. His primary trumpet instructors have been Dr James Bovinette and Dr James South. Jones graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 with a degree in Music Education and earned his MM in Trumpet Performance and Instrumental Music Education in 2011 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Jones resides with his family in Ankeny, Iowa.
