Daniel A. Verdú Schumann
Daniel A. Verdú Schumann is associate professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and currently Alexander von Humboldt Senior Research Fellow at the Universität Paderborn, Germany. He is the co-editor of Diseño de nuevas geografías en up la novela y el cine negros de Argentina y Chile (Vervuert, 2013) and Descubrir el cuerpo. Estudios sobre la corporalidad en el género negro en Chile, Argentina y México (Vervuert, 2017), and has collaborated on volumes such as Socio-critical Aspects in Latin American Cinema(s) (Peter Lang, 2012), Directory of World Cinema: Latin America (Intellect, 2013), Lateinamerikanisches Kino der Gegenwart (Stauffenburg, 2015) and Cine argentino contemporáneo: visiones y discursos (Vervuert, 2016). He has also published several books and articles on Spanish contemporary art and art criticism.
