Daniel Aranda

Daniel Aranda is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). His current line of research focuses on the study of forms of consumption, cultural practices and social dynamics related to leisure and digital entertainment of young people and adults. He was the co-editor of the journal Anàlisi. Quaderns de comunicació i cultura (2015–17). He is author of Game & Play (2015), ‘Ludoliteracy: Report on media literacy in the digital game. Experiences in Europe’ (2015), ‘The impact of digital on communication and adolescent relationships’ (2015), ‘Messenger and social network sites as tools for sociability, leisure and informal learning for Spanish young people’ (2013).
