Daniel Hartley

Daniel Hartley is assistant professor in world literatures in English at Durham University, UK. He is the author of The Politics of Style: Towards a Marxist Poetics (Brill, 2017), and co-editor of Emergent Forms of Life in Anglophone Literature (WVT Trier, 2015) and Beyond Gender: An Advanced Introduction to Futures of Feminist and Sexuality Studies (Routledge, 2018). He is on the Comité scientifique of the French online journal of Marxist theory, Revue Période. He has published widely on Marxist theory and contemporary literature. He is currently working on a comparative study of literary impersonality in world literature across the long twentieth century.
