Daniel Suer
Daniel Suer studied music education and English at the University of Siegen (state exam) and earned his MA in musicology at the University of Music and Dance Cologne. He is currently working on his Ph.D. thesis about the relation of music and dance in heavy metal within a research project funded by the German Research Council (DFG). As part of this project, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Popular Music and Gender Studies at the University of Siegen.
