Danielle Sprecher
Danielle Sprecher is the curator of the Westminster Menswear Archive at the University of Westminster. She was awarded her Ph.D. in history from the University of Leeds in 2016. It investigated the design and making of British menswear by the Leeds tailoring industry and its relationship with men’s fashion between the 1940s and 1980. Her research explores everyday men’s dress with a focus on object-based research. She has worked as a curator of historic dress and textile collections for a number of museums in the United Kingdom.
