Danka Lajić Mihajlović
Danka Lajić Mihajlović is a principal research fellow at the Institute of Musicology SASA. She obtained her Ph.D. in ethnomusicology related to Serbian epic tradition from the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade. Her research interests include traditional music of Serbia, the relationships between traditional music and the music industry and cultural policy. She has been engaged in the safeguarding of music heritage in Serbia based on the UNESCO ICH Convention as a domain of applied ethnomusicology. In addition to a number of articles, she has published four monographs and six edited books. She is the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Muzikologija (Musicology).
