David Álvarez
David Álvarez is a professor of English at Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has published essays on contemporary Gibraltarian literature as well as on anglophone South African and Caribbean literature. He has also published a translation of a study of post-Hassan II Morocco by Moroccan intellectual Abdallah Saaf. Currently, he is completing a book manuscript for Palgrave Macmillan on representations of unauthorized crossings of the Strait of Gibraltar in the arts.
