David Herd

David Herd is a poet, critic and activist. His work on the politics of movement has been widely published in Europe and North America and he is currently completing a book entitled Making Space for the Human: Persons, Non-Persons, Movement in the Postwar World. His collections of poetry include All Just (Carcanet, 2012), Through (Carcanet, 2016) and Songs from the Language of a Declaration (forthcoming from Periplum Press). He is a professor of Modern Literature at the University of Kent and co-organizer of the project Refugee Tales.
